Hmm.. more ice cream at grandma & grandpa's.. I'm starting to see a pattern here! Well, they come home in one piece, they are well loved, and I get free babysitting.. I can't really complain!

Day 232 - 8/20/11
Today was our friend Isabelle's 2nd birthday party. Drew was multi-tasking this morning.. "working" on Katelin's laptop while eating breakfast.

Day 231 - 8/19/11
We had lunch with Sabina and Lindsey (little Lindsey) today and after lunch, Lindsey came back to the house and played with Drew. Then, after Chris and Sabina got off work, we all went to dinner at RGs burgers. Fun Day!
Day 230 - 8/18/11
Katelin tried a new snack today at grandma & grandpa's house! From what I heard, she LOVED it. MMMM Twinkies. Mom assured me that they only gave her a small piece of it. Twinkies sugar high probably isn't such a good thing for a 3 year old!
Day 229 - 8/17/11
We went to Pei Wei tonight... one of Katelin's FAVORITE places to eat (when she wants noodles!). Drew got to test out the chop sticks tonight. He actually used them properly a couple times.. then he just stabbed the chicken.Day 228 - 8/16/11
Grandma Z is having problems with her knee so we got her one of the scooters to cruise around Target. The kids both loved it. Luckily, no one was injured!
Day 226 - 8/14/11
Drew at dinner... he had the basics covered... protien (ham), fruit (strawberries, peaches, and banana), carbs (oyster crackers), and dairy (cheese). What more could a mom ask for???
Day 225 - 8/13/11
The kids and I headed out to Brian & Robyn's house for Rylie's first birthday party. Katelin had fun playing with Landry and Landry's cousin while Drew tried taking over all of Rylie's toys!

Katelin was helping me get ready for Rylie's first birthday party on the 13th. Okay, really she was just cutting up the scrap papers!

Day 219 - 8/7/11
We headed to New Paris, Indiana this morning. We got caught in a few rain storms along the way but we made it to the Smokercraft Dealer Meeting. No picture today.
Day 218 - 8/6/11
We spent last night in Milwaukee. This was the view from our hotel room in the morning. We checked out of the hotel and drove to Chicago where we had lunch with Laura, Karl, and Zoe and spent a little time at their house. Then it was off to Eric & Sarah's. We walked to a pizza place for dinner and then played Spades at their place until midnight! We drove to Indiana and spent the night (well, from about 1am to 8am).
Day 217 - 8/5/11
Chris and I flew to Milwaulkee this morning. We are kid-free for a few days. We had lunch at a little brewery... sampled some beers and ate some brats. Chris had the big beer on the left, I had the little one :)

Fun at Grandma & Grandpa's house.
They are pretty good about picking their toys up and putting them away when they are here. I need to train them better at home!
Day 214 - 8/2/11
On the way home Tuesday, we had to make the boat-dealership rounds in Austin. Several of the dealers sell ATVs and bikes. Katelin is a girl after my own heart... she picked one on clearance :)
Day 213 - 8/1/11
We stopped in at the San Marcos Outlets before meeting Lee, Cara, and the kids for dinner on Monday. Katelin was BEGGING to ride in the apple!
Day 212 - 7/31/11
We went out on the lake today with Sabina, her two 15-yr-old nephews, Lee, Cara, and their 4 kids. We had a blast. The bigger kids, Lee, and I took turns tubing. Katelin didn't want to try it though. She's content just driving the boat with Daddy.
Day 211 - 7/30/11
Enjoying the pool and the warm (hot) weather at the Canyon Lake condo. Katelin is getting brave jumping into the pool!

Our last Splish Splash Story time of the year. Love that the library does this during the summer! We headed to Canyon Lake with Sabina this afternoon for a little vacation at her timeshare.
