Day 178 - 6/27/11
Chris found a place in Sanger that makes stuffed pizza! He brought one home and it was pretty tasty! Wasn't a big fan of the sausage texture but overall it was good. Drew LOVED it! (that's my boy!)

Day 174 - 6/23/11
Today was a great day! Long, but great!!!
Got up at 4:30 am (CST) to pick up Sabina and get to the airport for a 7:20am flight. We had a stop in IAD, where I would have felt right at home but they've re-done it since I stopped doing my work stint there.
Then it was off to Syracuse. We got in and loaded up the rental car and we hit the road by 2:44. Niagara Falls was calling our names!
Sabina, Lisa, Betty, Tammy and I made the 3-hour trip out there.
We rode the Maid of the Mist (that is this photo), walked up part of the falls (and got soaked, even with the cool ponchos), and did the Cave of the Winds tour. VERY VERY COOL!!!!!! We dropped Betty & Tammy off ad headed to Canada. (Betty didn't have a valid passport). We hit two shops and then it was back to the good 'ole USA :)
A 'quick' 3-hour drive back to the hotel in Syracuse and it was off to bed! At 2:30am EST.
Other than a little work on the plane and at IAD, I didn't really worry about it! I didn't have to chase after kids, or worry about cleaning the house, or un-reachable goals at work. I needed that more than even I knew!
Day 173 - 6/22/11
Drew was a sleepy boy tonight! The kids spent the night at grandma & grandpa's house since I was getting up for an early flight Thursday.
Day 172 - 6/21/11
I'm a little late with some of these pictures but they were taken on the right day!
Monday night into Tuesday morning we had some bad storms.... Lost part of our fence on one side and the other side (shown here) is peppered from the hail. The old house got more damage (probably golf ball sized hail). Insurance adjuster will be out tomorrow.

Day 171 - 6/20/11
A belated father's day picture. This was part of his gift. I got a 4-pack of root beer with twist off caps. Rinsed the bottles out and filled them with 4 different candies and put the caps back on. I Make a cutesie-unique label for each one and a cute bottle cap topper. I also covered the box in a sports themed paper. :).

Day 169 - 6/18/11
We had a very busy day today. Ran lots of errands and then we had Hadley's birthday party at Gymboree from 3-4:30 and then we went to Lindsey's party for a little over an hour. Her party was actually at 2 so we caught the very tail end of it and then just hung out in the pool with Lindsey & her family.

Day 167 - 6/16/11
Miracle balloons???
I bought Katelin 4 Mylar balloons the day before her birthday at Dollar Tree (have I mentioned before how much I LOVE the Dollar Tree???). That was APRIL 26th. They sat in my warm-hot car that night while I bowled and I was worried that they'd lose their ability to float!
One of them bit the dust about a month ago. A second one is barely hovering as I type this up. The final two are still going strong though! Almost 2 months later and my $1 balloons are hanging in there!

Katelin helped grandma make pancakes this morning. :)
After we picked her and Drew up, it was time for a quick bite to eat, short nap for them, and then it was off to Avery's first birthday party! Katelin had a great time playing in (& out) of the pool with her friends!

Day 154- 6/3/11
I was making a hooded towel for a sweet little girl's first birthday and Katelin got a hold of the hood before I sewed it on. She was running around saying she was little pink riding hood. Then she needed a basket and something to put in the basket for grandma. She's so silly! Eventually she gave me the hood back and I finished the towel :)
