Day 38 - 2/7/11

I guess it is time to feature Roscoe since I didn't spend much time with the kids today. By the time I got home from work, it was time to eat, had a quick call to grandma & grandpa, and then it was time to get ready for bed. Chris actually bowled tonight and felt okay. Hopefully he's on the mend!

Day 37 - 2/6/11

Happy Super Bowl Sunday. I worked the boat show with Chris this afternoon. I might have a sale... Fingers crossed. He was going to come back with his wife.
We went to dinner and Drew was full of funny faces. I'll post more but for now.. just the one.

Day 36 -2/5/11

Boat Show! Spent the morning witht the kids and then headed into Dallas to help out at the boat show. I'll be back there tomorrow!

All the snow we got has pretty much already melted :). Back to our normal winter!

Day 35 - 2/4/11

More snow! We've had some crazy weather this week. We probably ended up with 5-6" since midnight last night. The roads were pretty bad this morning and the boat show was cancelled for the day. Glad Chris didn't have to drive down there! We had a nice day and the roads started clearing up when the sun came out so we got out of the house for a little bit. Katelin was excited to play in the snow again. Hopefully it'll all melt and she won't get to see snow again until Tahoe! Hate to crush her snow-spirit but we live in Texas!

Day 34 - 2/3/11

Another snow day. I got to work from home again today. (okay, not my home, but my parents house)
I forgot how nice and peaceful it is to work in a quiet, empty house!
I spent a good portion of the evening getting pricing sheets ready for the boat show this weekend so I didn't get any boxes unpacked :(. I guess four days was my limit!

Day 33 - 2/2/11

Today was another icy day... it finally started melting this afternoon but now they are predicting more snow this weekend! This weather really needs to clear up... the Boat Show is this weekend! We're paying a pretty penny (okay.. lots of pretty pennies) to be at the show and if it is nasty out, no one is going to come. Plus, I'm pretty sure all the frozen Packer and Steeler fans were hoping for some warm weather when they came to Dallas for the Super Bowl!

Day 32 - 2/1/11

Snow Day!
We got lots of ice and a little snow today. Katelin couldn't wait to get out and play in it. The kids got to try out their new snow pants. Yes, we live in Texas and my kids own snow pants... we're going to Tahoe next month :) I can't wait to see how Katelin does on skis. She can be a little scared of new things so hopefully she does okay with it.

I went out for a pizza tonight.. the roads were all icy.. I'm thinking I'll be working from home tomorrow. The high is only supposed to be in the 20s and it is supposed to be overcast so the ice probably won't be melting anytime soon.

In other news.... I unpacked another box today. Three boxes in three days... I'm on a roll.
